MY STAND ON WOMANHOOD

There is a lot we need to learn about ourselves women,
Like they say, our life is in order. After birth, we go to school and be train to be a good woman, wife and a mother.
All our lives have been centered on BEEN A GOOD WOMAN, WIFE AND A MOTHER which ofcourse it really really great (Thank God for that). But there is more to been a woman, there is more to been SHE.
Our men should understand that it not all about been a good woman, wife and a mother that make a woman fulfill, it about having a sense of purpose, with the knowledge that she matters in some certain expect of development, acknowledging she was part of the creation/invention of something, that is what makes a woman fulfill.
If that is not the case, God would not have made it that we will want to feel fulfilled, He would have in one way or the other remove the sense of fulfillment in women and that way we will sheepishly be following and living a man’s dream but then that void in sense of fulfillment will always be there until the void is filled with something.
Because of our understanding about been really serious about getting married and raising children, it makes us  feel our fulfillment comes from marital life (though being a wife and a mother is another fulfillment, do not misquote me) but we need more and we realize after achieving all that, something else is missing.
I hear a lot of women who stopped working to raise their children complain of how bored and frustrated they feel and how they wished they can go back to working as they use to but their husband would not allow it and I really really felt for them because though the husband  may have all the money needed to take care of the family  including as many wives as he want if it allows, a woman needs to have a sense of fulfillment somewhere, she wants to matter somewhere and she want to know that she was part of the creation, development of something somewhere hence the need for women to work.
